GIVING BACK

WE OWE OUR HORSES SO MUCH.

At AERI, we believe that we owe our horses so much, which is why we are dedicated to preventing horses from becoming lame. To help those animals in less fortunate situations, we actively support worthy organizations that reach out and make a difference. We are also building a portfolio of support for those organizations dedicated to promoting all equestrian sports for our athletic horses. Some of our favorite associations are listed below.

WORLD HORSE WELFARE.

Focused on supporting the welfare of many, this group is one of the world's leading equine welfare charities, working toward a world where the horse is used but never abused.

  • For UK welfare: For UK welfare: This group establishes a way to define the major causes of horse welfare abuse in the UK and to propose practical solutions.
  • For international training: WHW develops a more regional outlook to training projects like their current focus on Central America, enabling them to maximize the use of native trainers on all of their courses.
  • For campaigning: This organization completes a job that was their founding campaign, namely the abolition of the long distance transport of horses for slaughter within Europe. WHW is winning this fight with aggressive campaigning across Europe.

This organization is a fundraising organization. Donations are used to provide grants in five sectors:

  • Thoroughbred rescue, rehabilitation, and retraining for secondary careers post-racetrack
  • Research in all equine scientific fields
  • Equine educational organizations, including those who provide equine based scholarships and those who utilize thoroughbreds in their educational programs
